Privacy Policy

Craft Yield is built so that the cost and yield data you enter is not collected on an operator server. This policy is an unreviewed draft.

1. What we do not collect

• Product names, material/packaging/direct cost figures, loss reasons, good/sample/rework/scrap counts and leftover carry-over records exist only in your browser's local storage (localStorage) and are not sent to our servers. Material unit prices and batch costs are sensitive business information, so we state this plainly.
• No user accounts, logins, cookie-based tracking, ad networks or third-party analytics are used.
• Do not enter personal data such as names, phone numbers, addresses or bank accounts.

2. Payment and license checks

• Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy. Your email, card details and billing address are processed by Lemon Squeezy directly; this tool does not collect or store them.
• When you turn on a Pro license key or it is re-checked, your browser sends only the license key and a device name ('Craft Yield browser') directly to the Lemon Squeezy license server. Your product, material cost and batch records are not sent.
• The license is re-checked at most once a day, and Pro stays on for up to 30 days after the last successful check even when offline.

3. Network logs when you visit the site

The static files are served through Cloudflare Pages. Ordinary access records (IP address, browser User-Agent, time) may be recorded temporarily by Cloudflare's infrastructure; we do not keep or analyze them in identifiable form.

4. Browser storage

All data is kept in your browser's local storage. Using the browser's “clear site data” can erase it permanently, so download a full backup regularly and keep it somewhere safe. A backup file contains your cost and batch records as they are, so keeping the file safe is your responsibility. Restoring checks the file structure, derived cost/count invariants and a checksum, but the checksum is for accidental corruption detection, not tamper prevention.

5. Access and deletion

We hold no work data of yours on a server, so there is nothing for us to show or delete. “Delete all records” on the screen clears this browser's records. Requests about payment data can be made through Lemon Squeezy.

6. Children

This is a business tool for makers and sellers and is not aimed at children under 14.
